John Person is an internationally recognized specialist in investments, trading, and financial management. John has written several internationally popular books that target trading futures as well as ETF’s and Stocks. He is currently an elected member of The American Association of Professional Technical Analysts (AAPTA). John is the former founder and President of First National Futures Group, an Introducing Brokerage firm cleared through M.F. Global. John is the founder and President of John Person Inc., dba Personsplanet.com.

In addition to consulting with various institutions and banks plus providing workshops for various organizations around the world including AATA, IFTA and the MTA, John is an invited guest and featured speaker at conferences around the Globe including the Traders World in Germany, the Technical and Traders conferences in Paris, events in Hong Kong, Singapore, Egypt, Australia, China, and many other events around the world. John also had the privilege of speaking regularly at the Money Show events domestically for the past fifteen years.

John’s goal is to help educate traders on the positive aspects that trading can provide using time tested techniques based off of the technical tools and technology that our industry offers. As a business major at Loyola University downtown campus, John worked part time under the direct supervision of George Lane, credited with the innovation of the Stochastic indicator. John was a series 3 licensed broker, a Registered Commodity Representative with both the CME & CBOT, branch manager of 1st American Discount Corp. under the direction of Bill Mallers Sr.
